Bayne is the result of genetic experiments and messing far more than nature ever intended. The bad genetics people were aiming for the perfect person and they got an immortal, mute, hermaphrodite with oddly coloured eyes and hair, with disgustingly powerful psi abilities. Not quite what they were expecting, but I think he's pretty cool. He is the first vampire of this little mythology.
I do refer to him with a masculine pronoun because the male genitalia is dominant. He has breasts but they're smallish, and he has a uterus but obviously that's hidden. All his other bits look pretty much boyish. He is also sterile.
Bayne is a thing of legend. Very few know who or what he actually is, but everyone knows his name. Almost like a folklore, he is often discussed, always fearfully, but usually dismissed as one of those stories to stop kiddies going out after dark.
While Bayne owns a nightclub (infinity) he has no time for the general populace, choosing instead to spend his energies on his little group of loved ones. He will never go anywhere without Dyce by his side, and is unlikely to leave the little basement setup beneath the nightclub anyway. His pseudo-family is his life.

Totally insane pretty much sums this one up. He doesn't talk so much as make noises, but he sings beautifully would you believe. Just as likely to give you a hug as he is to bite you, life with Dyce is rarely dull. He lost his mind when he was vamped. Apparently whatever causes vampirism isn't compatible with chip technology. Dyce is the reason catalogued individuals aren't turned without first removing their chips.
Bayne was the one who 'rescued' him, or at least got the chip out of his body, so now he's about as 'normal' as he's ever likely to be. I think Dyce feels a sense of obligation to Bayne for saving him, but I don't really think Dyce fully understands the situation. He's not stupid, just fucked up. Bayne takes care of him and Dyce kinda protects him in return.
Oh and that cute little bunny he carries everywhere? If you pull its head off, its actually a concealed dagger. ^_^

Jade is dichotomy personified. A tiny little lady boy with an attitude twice his size, his appearance belies the strength inside. At the same time he's loud, opinionated, defensive and rash, but beneath the prickly, and somewhat glittery exterior, lies a kind heart and gentle soul. Sometimes he just feels like kicking someone's arse.
He spends most his time at his second home, infinity, with his lover Johann and the rest of the quirky regulars. Apart from this, I know little of him or the role he will play (although I know it will be important) his voice is just a touch quiter than the others. Mind you his interaction with the bouncers is enough to keep me amused at this point. *sigh* Sorry, long story. ^_^

Apart from the physical similarities you wouldn't pick Yvette as Johann's sister. Sure they act like siblings, with the unquestionable love, loyalty and bickering, but their personalities kinda sit at opposite ends of the scale.
Yvette, while meditative when she feels the urge, is more likely to speak her opinions and be up front about things. She'll tell you what's on her mind without hesitation, openly flaunts her various perversions, and dresses to cause a stir.
When she met Scarlet I think she may have met her match. The two of them trade nasty remarks in lieu of pet names and endearments, lean towards bloody sex, and generally enjoy fucking with each other's heads. Oddly enough, none of her other relationships have lasted anywhere near as long as this one.

Scarlet stumbled across Yvette about ten years ago and subsequently became part of Bayne's little pack. She had already been vamped, by whom I have yet to establish, but knew a good thing when she saw it.
Personality wise she's bubbly and friendly, but harbors a somewhat dark and violent nature. She won't just go out and beat up some helpless person, but she can defend herself and loved ones in a fight and enjoys bringing a little pain into her lover's life. One could compare her to a dominatrix and not be too far off. She has spunk, and I like that.
Being the youngest she obviously hasn't experienced nearly as much as her friends, but still seems somewhat jaded and cynical. I think she may be a new breed of youth spawned by a decadent society in a time of crumbling ideals and unstable governments.

Think of Elixa as something like 'Bayne V2.0'. Some little fucked up scientific revival bunch decided it would be a really good idea to try to make a new and improved 'perfect person' and pick up where Bayne's creators left off. This time they got a vampire who was genetically female, save for the fact that she has no uterus, with a slightly more mundane appearance, who can speak and hear but doesn't need to for the power of her psychic mind.
Elixa's appearance caused a bit of a problem at the time and she simply disappeared into obscurity. It will be her inevitable reappearance and resulting mess that will bring her into Bayne's comfortable little existence.
I will take a stab in the dark and say she feels a connection to Bayne because of their similar conceptions, and that in trying to seek her 'brother' out she will cause a world of trouble. Without sounding totally tacky, she is basically the bad guy.
