There's a history to this. When I was twelve I had a major obsession with my pet fish. I made them a comic strip and even a newsletter (I really loved Publisher at the time). The major players are Vladd (named after Vlad the impaler, despite the misspelling), Muddy (named after Muddy the Mudskipper from Ren and Stimpy), Mr Horse (again from Ren and Stimpy) and Samail (whom my brother named after some dodgy death metal band, but once again misspelled).
