prose... but a click will take you home

In regards to ratings. Where I live PG. is pretty much open slather, M is recommended for people over the age of 15, MA is restricted to those over 15, and R is 18 and over only. That said I can't stop you from doing what you want, but I have covered my arse.

'Aspirations and Armageddon'

Rating: PG.
Description:

Wrote this one for an English assignment. Don't quite remember how it related to what we were studying.  A bit too simple, it was written back in high school, but I like it all the same.
Completed 1998.

The Devil's Trilogy

Written after I saw the movie 'Blade'. The movie pissed me off, so I made my own story. I grew attached to the characters, so turned it into a series even if I probably should have stopped after the first one. These are the stories that kicked-started my novel though, so I guess I shouldn't complain. Just so you know, this isn't the same Evelyn as in 'Descent', I just have a thing with that name.

'Devil's Whore'

Rating: M. Mostly implied, a little fondling, some blood drinking. M/M
Description:

Evelyn kills other vampires. Dermot, Evelyn's maker, ain't too happy about it and decides it's time to talk. Sorta. Yes Evelyn is a boy, 'cause that particular spelling of Evelyn is a masculine one. As if it matters. :P
Completed 1998.

'Devil's Darlings'

Rating: M. Implied intimacy, more fondling, lots of blood swapping. M/M
Description:

Sequel to 'Devil's Whore'. I don't want to spoil the story! If you liked the first one, I guess you'll like this too.
Completed 1999.

'Devil's Flame'

Rating: M. More blood, less fondling, some sappiness.
Description:

Follow up to 'Devil's Darlings'. Hang in until the end, it's worth it.
Completed 1999.

'Biological Warfare'

Rating: PG.
Description:

Story written for the QCS exam. If you saw the 1998 QCS stimulus paper, you'd know that I had very little to work with. I like the way I've written this more than the actual story. I like playing with points of view and perspective sometimes.
Revised 1999.

'Chasing Daniel'

Rating: M. Implied and some touchy feely stuff. M/M
Description:

I'm almost too embarrassed to put this one up. Really, really tacky story written to drag a friend out of the closet kicking and screaming. Needless to say, I never actually gave it to him. Basically the story of Daniel and what happens when a vampire named Zechariah comes into his life. Much fluff, tackiness, and a little bad language.
Completed 1999.

'Window Shopping'

Rating: PG.
Description:

Description: Don't believe I forgot to put this up! Not that it's particularly good or anything, but still it's been floating around for over a year now! Any-who, this one was written for a dictionary challenge (ie. pick ten words from the dictionary that no one knows, read the meanings and write a short story using them). I kinda like the way it turned out, but you can soooo tell what the ten words are.
Completed 2000.

'Special'

Rating: M. Little bit of blood and guts.
Description:

Just a little idea which sprung up on the bus (what can I say, I get bored on buses, my mind wanders). It's not really 100% serious, but hopefully it'll play with your head a little.
Completed 2000.

'Forever Running'

Rating: PG. Teensy bit of M/M.
Description:

This is an idea I've had playing through my head since last year. It resulted from a class survey thingy that went something like this:
The lecturer tells a really longwinded story with this chase scene between A and B, involving a really thorough description of the surroundings etc. but no actual description of the characters (A and B). Then they ask how many people thought B (the chaser) was male. In our class it was 100%. Then how many thought A (the one being chased) was female. Our class--about 90%.
I found that really quite interesting. Completely irrelevant to what we were studying, but interesting all the same. So yeah, this story is pretty much what I thought of when he asked about A and B. I like my version much better!
Completed 2000.

'Family Values'

Rating: PG. Just a touch of gore.
Description:

It seems I can't write a short story more than half a page long at the moment! Fuck that's annoying. Anyway, this one is just me messing with perspective one more time. If I tell you what it's about, it won't have the desired effect, so just read it.
Completed 2000.
