Life is a game. We play the odds; sometimes they're in our favour, sometimes not. The important thing is to be persistent. We tire of it occasionally and have to take a time out. It's very easy to watch from the sidelines, to observe the other players grope and fumble their way through. But it doesn't pay to stay seated on the bench. You have to get back into the fray, lest you lose the passion, lest you lose the will to continue. If you don't play, you don't gain anything and you can't possibly win.

Life is not a gift. It is an opportunity. We come with nothing, it is our responsibility to make something of it. Touch everything and anything you can. If it burns you, learn from it. Find what you want, hold onto it, and never let it go. It is yours if you would have it so. Sometimes our goals seem too hard, sometimes what we want appears to be too far away. Never lose sight, never give up, because in the end it will be worth it. We gain experience from the trial, and experience is by far the greatest gift you can ever give yourself.

Life is not easy. It is different degrees of difficult. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying. We are beaten, bruised, scarred and savaged. The marks and wounds give us strength and character; without these we would be nothing, hollow and dry. When we are bitten, we mustn’t hide or back away in fear. Scream and rage, bite back, then accept. Take each day as it comes. Strike a balance and take back what is taken from you. Just don't forget to give what and when you can.

Life is short. We have limited time in the shell in which we harbour ourselves, don't let it go to waste. Every second counts, so don't count the seconds. Immortality is achieved through our efforts and merits. Do not fade away into obscurity, leave you mark in any way you can. Learn to teach. Be remembered for who you are and what you do. Don't give the world a reason to forget. Take nothing for granted, but enjoy it while it lasts.

Life is yours. We all posses it, but it belongs only to oneself. Do not let others run or ruin it. Seize it and do not let go. It is your's to keep, tend and nurture. Your life depends upon you. Allow it to grow and reap the rewards. If you let it wither and die, so will you. Do not lock it away or chain it up, give it some freedom, but keep it within your control. Care for it and you shall be happy. Take responsibility and watch it thrive. Take pride in what you create. Take heed.
