BUTTERFLIES ©2002 amber rose
When we form a connection with another, a tiny piece of their soul is stolen by us. We hold it close to our hearts, nuture it and let it nestle in the warmth of our solar plexus.
When we are far from those we love, that little splinter of spirit gives us comfort. We are reminded of our connection, however, each time we see them. That soul fragment recognises its parent and leaps in our chest, straining to return to where it was plucked from.
If the connection is true we will feel this pull at our heart-strings everytime, for the bond that holds that foreign soul drop inside is far too strong to break. This is our soul-mate.
May the butterflies never stop fluttering in your hearts.
